Standard & Charted plans to make a second listing in HK
The local sources quoted president of Standard & Charted Group, Rana Talwar, as saying in order to show its responsibility to Hong Kong, Standard & Charted inclined to make a second listing in Hong Kong by the end of this year and will issue new shares to raise capital. If Charted successfully get listed in Hong Kong, the three banks, which issue cash in Hong Kong, will all get listed in HK next year. Rana Talwar claimed that Standard & Charted listed in the UK was making an intensive study over the possibility of getting listed secondly. Though the group did not finalize yet, he was favorably in-clines the second listing in Hong Kong.
