Royal Philips expects to see HK$1.17 bln loss in Q2 over semi-conductor demands

Foreign sources quoted the third biggest semi-conductors manufacturer Royal Philips Electronics NV as saying that as the demands for semi-conductors decreased, the company would see net loss of about 175 mln euros (circa HK$1.17 bln) in Q2. 

Philips said its semi-conductors sales in Q2 would decrease 20-25% vs Q1 and its previously announced that the restructure would only bring expenditure of about 350 mln euros at most.
