US new unemployment relief applicants in last week down 12,000

The US Department of Labor announced that the new unemployment relief applicants in the previous week dropped 12,000 to 428,000, the first decline in the past 5 weeks and within the analysts prediction.

Market insiders forecast that under the slowdown in economy, the rush of lay-off would continue.
