EU countries May inflation up 0.6%

EU membership countries May inflation went up 0.6%, higher than the market expectation of 0.5% and the biggest up-range since the introduction of euro single currency last year. It indicated that the chance for a further rate-cut from European Central Bank is slim. The euro exchange rate gained 0.23 US cents to 86.33 US cents after the announcement.
