Peking Apparel International chairman increases 17.872 mln shares

Peking Apparel International Group (0761) announced that its chairman had increased 17.872 mln shares at HK$0.35 each yesterday. Except for this, the company was unaware of the reasons for the rise of its stock price and turnover. Before the increasing move, Jia Anming, chairman of Peking Apparel International held 25.111 mln shares (7.9%) and 167.832 mln shares (52.9%) of the company in the name of his personality and in the name of the company. After the increase, Mr Jia will hold 42.983 mln shares (13.6%) and 167.832 mln shares (52.9%) in the name of his personality and in the name of the company with a total of 210,815,000 shares (66.5%).
