Everbest Century has no need of rights issue in short term

When asked whether the mediocre response for the rights issue of Everbest
 Century Holdings (0578) indicated the lack of confidence of the shareholders 
in the company, Poon Chak Keung Larry, managing director of the Everbest
 Century stated that he hoped to let the shareholders know the situation of the
 company by increasing its transparency, adding that the company began to
 develop the power plants and environmental business in China mainland and it 
no longer relied on the business of fir coats. With the financial situation of
 Everbest Century improving, it would be easier for the company to finance 
through the banks and the company had no necessity for rights issue in short
