US June consumer confidence index up to 117.9

US June consumer confidence index climbed up for the second consecutive month, hitting 117.9 and higher than the market expectation of 114.5. Analysts pointed out that the figure indicated that consumers boost confidence in the US economy this year.

Besides, May revised consumer confidence index stood at 116.1.
