Bank of East Asia (0023) announced to launch tired rate next month. Details are as follows:



Balance on HK$ saving account			Rate



Below HK$1,000					-2.25% against rate of Bank of East Asia  

HK$1,000 to HK$2,000				-1.5% against rate of Bank of East Asia  

HK$5,000 to HK$10,0000				 rate of Bank of East Asia  

Above HK$100,000				+0.25% against rate of Bank of East Asia  

The new system will be effective on July 3.
