US new unemployment relief applicants drop to 388,000 last week

The US Department of Labor announced yesterday that the number of new unemployment relief applicants dropped 16,000 to 388,000 persons, lower than the market expectation of 420,000. The figure is the new low for the past six weeks, showing that the trimming in enterprises has been improved.
