SmarTone expects recovery in ARPU helps turn losses into profit next year

SmarTone Telecommunications Holdings (0315) management revealed to analysts that the company was confident that it can turn losses into profit in 2002, for the ARPU has recovered and the company can control the expense effectively. Besides, the business in Macao will be put in service in August while cross-network short message service would be launched next month, Apple Daily reported.
