EU rejects GE acquisition of Honeywell

EU Commission unanimously turned down GE¡¦s acquisition of Honeywell. Market sources said that GE was considering appealing to a higher court but the chance of wining was rather slight.

Honeywell got in obscure status again after the failure. Several companies including United Technologies once showed interest in acquisition of partial business in Honeywell.
