Liu Mingkang: Bad loans of Bank of China decreases to 28.8% in first-half year

Liu Mingkang, president of Bank of China, revealed that the bad loans of the bank in the first-half of the year decreased 3% to 28.8% and the falling tendency was expected to continue. As a result, the proportion of the bad loans in the whole year would diminish by 1.5-2%. At present, the rate of bad loans in China mainland is 48%, much higher than the global level of 39%.
