Matsushita to increase output of electrical home appliances in Asia

Spokesman of Matsushita Electric Industrial Co said the company plans to carry out businesses restructuring and reinforce the production bases for electrical home appliances in Asia to improve its competitiveness. He said the company will work out details this month. The spokesman also said the company will improve the production volume in China to make full use of the cheap labor force of China. The company plans to make China as the export bases to US, Japan and other countries and also hopes to expand the market of China at the same time.
