Strike movement reduces flights by 20%; Cathay Pacific sheds 4.8%

Affected by the heating strike movement, Cathay Pacific Airways (0293) has suspended 20% flights and cancelled 260 flights yesterday. Accordingly, it once cast off 4.8% to the lowest HK$10 and latest stood at HK$10.15, down HK$0.35, or 3.33%. The airlines pointed out that it reduced flights to ensure the stability of flights and network since the industrial action would intensify.
