Taiwan export and import in June falls 16% and 25%
Taiwan government announced that its export in June dropped 16.6% to US$10.3 bln vs the same period of last year with down range lower than expectation and its import also fell 25.2% to US$8.6 bln with down range higher than expectation. Meanwhile, the trade surplus of Taiwan in June was US$1.69 bln, higher than the US$1.2 bln in May and even recording over one-time growth vs the same period of last year.
