UN confirms Iraq resumes oil export

A UN spokesperson confirmed that Iraq had resumed the oil export after a 5-week suspension of oil export. Oil companies in Iraq said earlier that Iraq had resumed the oil supply to Turkey and Iraq had signed a MOU with UN and would extend the plan of exchange-oil-for-foodstuff to the end of November, which laid a foundation for the resumption of oil export.
