China Sci-Tech expects to carry out several telecom and infrastructure projects

Law Wing Kit, chairman of China Sci-Tech Holdings (0985), said after the special board meeting that the company was now in talks over several telecom and infrastructure projects of China mainland and three or four projects were expected to be carried out within this year, involving 20% to 30% shareholding. If the projects mentioned above could not be carried out, then the proceeds of the company this year would mainly come from the interests of bank and the dividend of China Online (Bermuda) (0383). The company now held about 30% shareholding of China Online (Bermuda).
