abc Multiactive develops Asia-Pacific market

By the end of May 2001, abc Multiactive (8131) recorded a half year turnover of HK$18.48mln over increasing market demand on electronic financial software and electronic commercial software products. In those days, the group signed contracts with several companies for providing wholly electronic business packages, signed a distribution agreement with Datapro, an India underwriter, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with a Japanese financial group to set up joint-venture in Japan and sold Enticle, a electronic product of the group. The group also set up office in Shanghai and carried out selling activities. The group is studying the appointment of Japanese and Korea underwriters to help business expansion.
