HKMMA Chairman: magnesium becomes global trend

Mr. Sun, Cliff K., honorary chairman of the Hong Kong Metals Manufacturers Association, said that the application of magnesium would grow into a prevailing trend if Hong Kong manufacturers hope to maintain competitive edge. Currently, magnesium is mainly applied in automotive industry and communication technologies. The demand for the metal is expected to double in the coming 10 years.
