RWC rumored to raise bidding price for MobileOne by 30% to US$1600mln

Regional Wireless Co (RWC), the joint-venture of PCCW and Telstra, has increase the bidding price for MobileOne, a Singaporean mobile telecommmunications company, from original US$1200mln to US$1600mln, including convertible bonds issued to shareholder of MobileOne. The bonds will be converted into shares of RWC. The adjustment range reaches 33.3%. Australian Financial Review reports.
