CCT Multimedia acquires the joint venture formed by its parent and Haier

CCT Multimedia Holdings (1169) announced to acquire the business of the joint venture formed by its parent company CCT Telecom Holdings (0138) and Haier at HK$1.4468 bln, which would be financed by issuing new shares at HK$0.2 each, 21.6% discount to the closing price on July 4. CCT Multimedia Holdings once surged over 40% after resuming trading in the morning.
