SETC expects 30-50 large enterprises to reorganize & list overseas within 5 yrs

Li Rongrong, director of State Economic and Trade Commission, said the tenth 5-year plan would trigger the large-scale enterprises to reorganize and there would be 30 to 50 big enterprises to get listed overseas and to reorganize in the future five years, said he. He continued to state that at present, China encouraged the large-scale enterprises to get listed overseas so as to accelerate the reorganizations, while State Economic and Trade Commission demanded that the enterprises should not only make mergers, but also put emphasis in the core business in order to strengthen their competitive power.
