MOFTE: Mainland retail sales in first half year expected to increase 10%

The officers of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Organization forecasted that the retail sales in the first half of the year in China mainland increased over 10%, higher than 9.7% in the same period of last year, of which the high-tech products, such as mobile phones and computers topped the rising list. In the first five months this year, the retail sales in China mainland increased 10.3% to RMB1.5 trillion.
