CLP Digital plans to apply for local fixed-net license

CLP Digital, subsidiary of CLP Holdings (0002), said the company intended to apply for local fixed-net license. If it could successfully obtained the license, it would set up a network of its own, but the scale of the network would depend on whether the relevant businesses were profitable. Moreover, the company would not establish the networks only to develop the charged TV business, said CLP Digital.
