Excellent corporate earnings lead US stocks to soar; Dow, Nasdaq up 134pts and 2

The excellent corporate earnings helped the broad market to surge. The blue-chip sector was pushed up by global biggest building materials manufacturer Caterpillar, while the technology stocks were also stirred by Intel. Dow Jones Industrial Average ended up 134.27 pts, or 1.28% to 10606.06 pts, while Nasdaq gained 38.2 pts, or 1.88% to close at 2067.32 pts.
