Hutchison Whampoa no plan to invest 3G businesses in Europe & US telecom market

Canning Fok, group managing director of Hutchison Whampoa (0013), said when meeting analyst of Goldman Sachs that throughput of mature ports, the subsidiary of the company, dropped slightly in the 1st half year over slowing down global economy. Hutchison Whampoa has no plan to further invest 3G businesses in Europe and US telecom market in short terms.
