First Pacific announces PLDT clinches cable TV merger accord

First Pacific (0142) announced that the subsidiary PLDT has signed cable TV merger agreement with Lopez. According to the accord, SKY Cable under PLDT and Home Cable under Lopez will form a new 50/50 company which will be equally held by PLDT and Lopez.
