US stocks rebound broadly, Nasdaq gains 40 pts and Dow Jones increases 1.5%
The US stock market rebounded at all fronts. The US trading deficit narrowed in May and the earnings of Nokia was better than the expectation, which pumped up the Tech stocks to surge and thus pushed the broad market to boom. The Dow Jones Industrial Average Index once surged over 110 pts and closed at 10610.00 pts, up 40.17 pts, or 0.38%. S & P 500 Index gained 7.31 pts, or 0.61% to close at 1215.02 pts. The Nasdaq Index picked up 3.12% at one time and closed at 2046.59 pts, increasing 30.42 pts, or 1.5%.
