Hong Kong and China Gas to accept offering on August 3

Hong Kong and China Gas Company (0003) announced that it had received 2.275 mln effective offering last Friday, accounting for 0.04% of the existing issued shares. As all the conditions for the repurchasing proposals have been reached, the repurchase proposals have become unconditional and the offering will be accepted before August 3. At the special board meeting held last Saturday, Hong Kong and China Gas Company approved to repurchase the shareholding on a voting proportion of 99.22% and meanwhile, the company also approved on a proportion of 92.26% that Henderson Land Development (0012) and Henderson Investment (0097) might increase 5% shareholding of Hong Kong and China Gas Company.
