OPEC first-half sales down 2.4%

OPEC sales in the first half of this year reached US$118.2bln, down 2.4% from the same period last year. The decline in the first-half sales can be attributed to Iraq production suspension as a result of the protest against the UN sanction. Besides, the Q2 sales stood at US$59.1bln, down 4.9% from a year earlier.
