Guangdong Kelon refrigerator sales up in first 5 months

Guangdong Kelon Electrical (0921) parent company announced that Kelon Group saw the Kelon refrigerator sales in Jan.-May soar 15% to 680,000 units. The Group planned to invest RMB120mln to tap retail market and expand the business in the form of JV with local marketplaces. Early this year, it set up JVs in Chengdu and Chongqing to seize local markets.
