Petrochina signs letter of intention with 4 syndicates

Petrochina (0857) announced that the company has signs letter of intention with four overseas syndicates on joint development of west-east pipe project. Petrochina will work out procedures to select partners and concrete timetable in short times. The four companies include Exxon Mobil, an JV of CLP (0002) and Exxon; Royal Dutch/Shell's, an JV of Hong Kong & China Gas(0003) and Shell; a unified syndicate group formed by BP Global Investments; Malaysia's Petronas and Japanese Nissho Iwai and a Russian syndicate formed by PJSC Gazprom and PJSC Stroitransgaz
