Lehman Brothers uplifts Lucent rating to strong buy

Lehman Brothers analyst Steven Levy upgraded the investment rating of Lucent Technologies from ¡§in line with market¡¨ to ¡§strong buy¡¨, for the company planned to sell manufacturing equipment and cable fibre, which was expected to relieve financial pressure.Lucent closed at US$6.67 with a gain of 24 US cents yesterday.
