City Telecom subsidiary HK Broad Band speeds laying networks

The management team of City Telecom (H.K.) (1137) revealed while meeting with the analysts of Golden Sachs that its subsidiary Hong Kong Broad Band, which was engaged in wireless fixed-net business, would spend HK$300 mln laying the networks, covering 1.1 mln families. The laying speed was one year earlier than the expectation made in May and the investment capital was HK$600 mln, HK$200 mln less than the expected HK$800 mln.
