Star East hopes Mobile Media to launch services in mainland this year

Wong Kun To, executive director of Star East (0198), said the company should record profit this fiscal year for performance of content businesses and Mobile Media is significant. The company holds 40% shareholding of the Mobile Media. He also said that he hopes Mobile Media will launch services in mainland by the end of the year. Mobile Media is in talks on launching the relevant services in several cities. The predicted preliminary investment will be handled by internal sources. Mobile Media will also seek mainland partners.
