US new houses sales in June rise 1.7%, higher than expectation

The US Department of Commerce announced last Friday that the new houses sales in June increased 1.7%. Based on the annual rate, 922,000 houses were sold, 1000 more than the expectation. Compared with the same period of last year, the new houses sales in June increased 16.35.
