Operation expenditure of Bank of East Asia up 35.6% to HK$1.38bln

The operation expenditure of Bank of East Asia (0023) went up sharply by 35.6% to HK$1.38bln in the first half of the year. Previously, the bank told analyst that the cost for restructuring is huge this year. Analyst predicated that in 1st half of year HK$25mln was spent on restructuring.
