China Southern Airlines denies recording of loss in first half

China Eastern Airlines (0670) released earnings warning recently. China Southern Airlines (1055) management strongly rejected the speculation that the company would record loss in the first half of this year. Economic Daily cited Su Liang, secretary of the Board of Directors of China Southern Airlines, as saying that the company released no earnings warning and recorded no loss in the first half. The company would release interim earnings on August 23.
