Sun Microsystems to cut off 300 jobs by end of June next year

Sun Microsystems said the company will cut off 300 jobs by the end of June next year. Spokesman said the company does not cut jobs at present but will begin to cut jobs in the 2nd half of the year. The spokesman also said employees that will be influenced are mainly from computer system, software and sale department. Sun Microsystems closed at US$16.29, up US$0.77 or 4.96%.
