HSI closes at 12467pts, up 150pts

Hang Seng Index in the afternoon session loitered to its narrowed range. Driven by the Cheung Kong-Hutchison and HSBC before closing, it rose up; and closed at 12478.74, up 162.05pts, on a turnover of HK$7.2bln. Cheung Kong (0001) and HSBC (0005) closed at the highest level, Cheung Kong HK$79.75, HSBC HK$90.25.
