Key state enterprises first-half profit growth slowed to 20%
The State Economic and Trade Commission said that the profit growth of key state enterprises in the first half would be slowed to 20.1%, far below the growth of more than 100% a year earlier. The commission did not disclose relevant reasons. Analysts pointed out that the significant rise in profit in the first half of last year can be attributed to the surging oil price and favorable state policies. The profit for this year was overshadowed due to the increased base.
