Salomon expects interim earnings of Angang New Steel to contract by 18%

Economic Daily cited research report issued by Salomon Smith Barney as saying that due to downturn of global steel industry and closing of partial steel plants, it is expected that net profit of Angang New Steel(0347) would contacted by 18% in 1st half of the year.
