I-Cable Communications secures League broadcasting right

I-Cable Communications (1097) subsidiary Cable TV won the broadcasting right of the UK Super Football League. Securities analyst said that since the Cable TV is the only charge TV station in Hong Kong, it would avoid audience drain in the short term. But it can not be ruled out that later charge TV competitors such as YesTV would win over partial customers. The American depository receipt (ADR) of the company dropped over 2% after the announcement of broadcasting right.
