US July non-manufacturing industry PMI lower than 50

The US Purchasing Managers¡¦ Index of non-manufacturing industry in July decreased from 52.1 in June to 48.9, the third time dropping in the past four months. The analysts previously forecast that the digit in July would only drop to 51.5. The fact indicated that the slowing down economy of the USA had spread from the manufacturing industry to retail, wholesale and other industries.
