HK mainboard daily turnover drops 36 pct in July

The Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearings Ltd (0388) said on Tuesday average daily turnover in July on its main stock trading board fell 36 percent from June and 50 percent year on year to HK$6.86bln. Total turnover by value on the main board for the first seven months this year reached HK$1,247.39bln.
