Langchao invests US$240mln to challenge HP, IBM on Internet server

Langchao, a Chinese information technology (IT) firm, plans to invest RMB2bln yuan (US$240m) to increase production of Internet servers. Last year HP ranked first, IBM second and Langchao third in the domestic market with 14.2 pct share, but the company aims to be the first by 2003.
