CNOOC, Chevron sign MOU for Australia investment

CNOOC Ltd (0833) said its wholly owned unit CNOOC International Ltd has signed a memorandum of understanding with Chevron Australia Pty Ltd on the seeking of the feasibility of acquiring gas interests in the Gorgon Area, Australia, and developing the gas market in coastal China.
