The Heng Sang Index extended its gain by the support of the rebound of Cheung Kong and Hutchison Whampoa group. At midday, the index closed at 11895.66 pts, rose 201.37 pts, or 1.72%, on a turnover of $ 2.777 bln. Spot month futures closed at 11860 pts, 35 pts below the cash market.
