HWL clarifies stake cut in Deutsche Telekom

Managing Director of Hutchison Whampoa (0013) Canning Fok denied the rumor of a stake cut in Deutsche Telekom by the group, saying it still holds a 4.9% stake in the latter for long-term investment. Whether the company will make provisions for Deutsche Telekom will be unveiled in the interim results due on next week, he added.
