Angang Newsteel to cut less than 5% staff in 2nd half

Vice president of Angang Newsteel (0347) Yang Hua pointed out the company has laid off 5% of its staff force to existing 8000. It will go on slashing jobs in the second half of the year in a bid to increase staffˇ¦s sense of crisis, which yet will be lower than 5% of the total staff force.
